Liverpool's Star Extends Regret to Liverpool Dressing Room, Says Curtis Jones
The Liverpool midfielder has revealed that Salah expressed regret to the entire Liverpool squad following the fallout from his public comments.

The striker was dropped from a key Champions League match following voicing frustrations and claiming his rapport with Arne Slot had broken down.
“Mo is his own man and he can say his own stuff,” the midfielder said. “He apologised to us and was like: ‘If I’ve affected anybody, I'm sorry.’”
The manager has refused to disclose on whether he received a personal apology from the player.
Looking Ahead
Jones insisted that the squad's reaction stayed normal. “Nothing about him changed, he was smiling and we all treated him normally,” Jones added.
Jones also noted that a player's desire to start is preferable. “I get that there are different methods you can handle situations,” he said. “But if a lad’s fine to just be on the bench, then I think that’s more of an issue.”
On-Field Response
Their results have stayed unbeaten in the period after the initial controversy. Jones believes the Salah's words were not intended to harm the team.
“If passion has boiled over, it’s always been from a desire to win,” Jones concluded. “That chapter is closed and we’re gelling well as a team, playing well and securing victories.”
